Levi stood outside Sauce, the towns famous local Pizza Joint. Luckily tonight there werent many people in the mood for Pizza, which left Levi with the freedom to stand outside in the cool night air. His hands were shoved deep in the pockets of his blue jeans as he leaned against the brick wall just outside the door of the Pizza joint. Levi had tried to clean himself up a bit, though he still stuck to his blue jeans and converse he had a nice black polo sweater pulled over a brown plaid button up shirt. He'd even put on his hollister cologne and watch. He never wore a watch. He'd even spiked his brown hair a bit and trimmed his beard.
Levi watched the towns people walk up and down the side walk as he waited for Matt. He prayed in his head that she hadnt stood him up. If She had stood him up it might actually crush his ego. He stared up at the pitch black sky and the tiny dots of light that shown through it thinking about how beautiful it looked. He hummed a song in his head as he zoned out. Outfit

Matt carefully brushed her long blonde hair so that it fell in loose curls. A bit of lip gloss, a bit of mascara, cute jewlery and she was set. It was really quite surprising that she'd agreed to go out for pizza with Levi, but something about him had compelled her to agree. Did this really count as a date anyways? Matt flipped open her cell phone to realize to her dismay that she was running later than she'd hoped. She ran through the school, down the stairs and into the fresh night air. Immediately, Matt wished she'd brought a sweater, her small yellow camisole wasn't close to enough to keep her warm. Matt shivered, she was wearing a small yellow camisole, jean capris and her favorite flats, this was a more summery outfit and the cold wind reminded her that winter was knocking on the door. She ran over to the bike rack and finally found her old yellow bike from the mess. Pulling it out, she began to ride, the town wasn't far off and if she made good time she'd be there on time, or only a little late.
The lights of the town sparkled like fireflies a little farthur off, as she approached, a car zoomed past her, making her swerve a bit and almost fall, she was glad she hadn't since the pavement would have scraped her up nicely. There was Sauce, the pizza restaurant which didn't seem to be too crowded tonight. There she saw Levi waiting outside, looking quite peaceful. She locked her bike to the bike rack and tiptoed over, coming up behind him. She playfully covered his eyes. "Guess who" she breathed softly into his ear. She was very thankful for the pack of mint gum she had in her pocket which made sure she didn't have ognion breath. Outfit

Levi felt a pair of tiny soft hands against his covering his eyes"Um, Im guessing a beautiful blonde girl Levi said cooly, he wasnt much of a flirt never really having time for girls when he was at home. He turned toward her a smile on his face. Well Goodness, I was right Levi took her hand in his and brought it to his lips, kissing the back of it. "Are you hungry?"Levi moved toward the door and held it open waiting for her to enter. His mother might have not been around a lot when he hit his teens but she did raise him right, open doors for girls, pull out their chairs. She had taught him that every girl was a little princess and should be treated like one.

Matt removed her hands, her blue eyes twinkled at the enjoyment of that one dumb little joke. She let a laugh escape her mouth when he suggested it might be a beautiful blonde girl. She looked around, left and right, even behind her before turning back to him and shurgging. "Nope, I guess you'll have to settle for me." When he took her hands and kissed them, it brought back vivid, terrible memories. She pulled her hands back and shoved them awkwardly into her pants pockets, tears stung her eyes and she forced them back. "Can you please not do that?" her voice quivered a bit, she wasn't ready for a relationship, she just wanted to hang out with a friend right now. She shook her blonde head and started inside. She was furious with herself for allowing herself to get so shaken up by that small kiss to her hands. The thing is, that's the exact same the that he'd done to her. She furiously blinked back tears with her hands still shoved resignedly in her pockets.
His mention of food reminded her that she'd had to skip lunch for Tom who'd been doing some sort of extra-work and she'd chosen to hang out with him. "To be honest, I'm famished." her anxiety of before began to melt away as Matt told herself that things would be fine, everything would turn out just as she'd hoped it might. She pushed open the doors, only a step ahead of Levi. The smell of melted cheese and bread crust assulted her nose, making her mouth water. "Over here?" she gestured to a booth over by the window which seemed relatively clean. ((Matt's just like this now, it'll change)) Outfit

Levi huffed a sigh when she jerked her hand away. What had he gotten himself into. He was totally a touchy feely kind of guy. He wasnt the kind to grope a girl when he first met her or anything like that, but he enjoyed giving hugs to people, maybe it was because he had been turned into a father before his time. So now he was stuck on what he considered a date, with either a completely anti-phsyical psycho girl or a crazy nazi Feminist. This is what happens when you meet girls in hallways, Levi remind himself and Shrugged. "Sure...Sorry.." he mumbled.
When he stepped in the resturant after Mattie he smelt the wonderful smell of cheese and bread. His stomach growled reminding he was hungry. "Yeah Thats fine." He said sliding into one side of the booth across from her. He immediately started playing a quick game of chess with the salt and pepper shaker. It reminded him of the song "My Stupid Mouth" by John mayer. "So How was class?" he asked casually, his blue eyes focused on the table. He was still morified from how She had reacted from the kiss to the back of her hand.

Matt could feel the change in the atmosphere between them. A blind person could have seen it with ease. She sighed, it made her feel terrible the way she'd peeved him off, she knew though that the way these things were wasn't her fault. She hadn't asked for him to try and kiss her hand, for gosh sake, she hadn't even known him a full week! She flopped down in the seat across from him, Note to self, never accept to hang out with the boy you run into in the hallway. What a terrible start to the night. Matt kept replaying the words "Sure... sorry..." in the miffed tone he'd used replaying over and over in her head. She wanted to shake her head violently to try and knock the words away, but something told her that it wouldn't do any good. She folded her hands in her lap and carefully shot her eyes upwards, she would still be here for a bit, no point in trying to be moody, even if Levi was going to be.
He asked about her class in a tone that told her he was trying to be polite. She decided to just talk the way she always did, with a passion that most girl didn't talk about anything but shoes with. "It was really fascinating," she began, her hands already begun to move in that strange, mesmerizing way, "We were working on debates, my group was talking about whether the legal drinking age should be lowered, it was really engaging to hear some people talk about how if the legal age limit were lowered less people would drink just because... I don't drink so I was pretty strongly against it." She couldn't help but notice the way he moved the salt and pepper shakers, it was... absorbing? Outfit

Levi continued his mock chess game as he listened to her talk"I think it should, I dont agree with it but my opinion isn't law. I think if we uped the laws against DUI. used the money that funds DUI check points for more public transpertation. In Germany if you get caught drinking and driving you lose your license like for years and years. Even permantely."Levi realized he was babbling, and didn't want to say anything that would make their "date" if thats what you could call it now any worse. He finally stopped fidgeting with the shakers and slid them back to their proper place.
The waitress came to the table, She looked like a college student with long black hair. "Hey Caiti" Levi mumbled "Can I get a Dr. Pepper? and whatever the lady wants"Levi said, his elbow on the table as he rested the side of his head in his hand.
The waitress smile "Hi Lee, Sure Anything for you Sweetie"She turned her attention on Matt "and what for you?" Her notepad in hand.

There wasn't time for an answer before a very pretty college girl came to take their order. She seemed to know Levi really well and Matt felt her chest tighten. "I'll just have a water." she smiled warmly at the girl to mask the discomfort she felt at the obvious connexion between her and Levi who, by now she'd accepted, was her date. She needed to regain her composure. C'mon Matt, you're going to have fun tonight. When the pretty waitress went away Matt cautiously moved her hand across the table to lay it gently across his. "You know, I don't usually date guys I run into in the hallway." Her smile lightened her entier face. She was full of determination to have a good time, it'd been sweet of him to invite her out, so why should she ruin his evening? Where did she get off with being able to do that? She didn't. You will never let him get the best of you again. ((FAIL POST >.<)) Outfit

levi couldnt hide the surprise when he felt her hand cover his on the table. He glanced down at the table. A msile spread across his beared face "Well I guess Ill consider myself lucky then"Though he was confused as to what changed her mind he was no where near objecting to it. He cautiously turned his hand up ward closing his fingers around her hand loosely.
Levi was starting to feel like Matt was a deer, you had to move slowly and cautiously around it and it might let you gaze on it's beauty. Try and force it and move to quickly it'll sprint off quicker you could blink. He used his free hand to grab the meniWhat kind of toppings do you want?

Matt smiled warmly at Levi's change of attitude. "Lucky that I ran into you and embarassed you in front of everyone. I made you late for class too." Her blue eyes sparkled mischeviously. Being clumsy is often annoying, but right now it might have been one of the best things to happen to her at this school. She had run into lots of guys and girls, once she even ran into a pretty. That had been a big mistake. The girl had laughed at her and so had everyone else in the hallways. Just the memory was embarassing. Once, a big meat-headed football jock had tried to flirt with her, she'd felt sick afterwards, those guys were really touchy-feely.
Levi pulled the menu and started to look through it, he asked what she wanted, she would have said anything and she hated to be picky, but she was strictly no red meat. "I'm... I don't eat red meat... so anything without red meat." she smiled warmly. Outfit

The memory from earlier flashed before his eyes, though the only thing that had stood out were her beautiful eyes and smile. Levi laughed "Matt, you did not embarass me, And Im always late for class so you didnt hinder me in anyway." Levi laughed I feel bad enough for spilling your papers all over the floor Mattie had to be the first person Levi had ran into, most people avoided him thinking he was a "bad boy" or Levi actually didnt have his head in the clouds and paid attention to where he was going.
No red meat huh? So your like my sister. Levi remembered constantly arguing with Missie when she was younger that she needed to eat the meat to give her protein so her body would develop correctly, but missie wouldnt have it she hated the taste of any type of red meat. So instead Levi had gotten some money and bought her vitamens instead. How about just cheese then?

Matt smiled "Late for class all the time." she laughed brilliantly "Oh you rebel you." She kept her focus on him, Levi was great, a really nice guy. She'd been so lucky to run into him. In the little ammount of time they'd known each other, he'd shown her more respect then most other guys had. He hadn't tried to make-out with her or get in her pants. He seemed like the sort of guy who actually cared about her and her feelings. He'd even gotten passed her original reaction to the simple kiss to her hand. She was touched by his respect for her and she realized that he might be the guy to change her outlook on dating.
"Missie's a vegitarian?" She was amazed, Missie seemed like, no offence to her, the sort of girl who would be eating raw meat. Matt chuckled. "I'm not a full vegitarian though, I eat chicken, fish and seafood." she had always loved seafood and didn't think she'd be able to abandon it, ever. "Cheese sounds good." she grinned. Outfit

Levi laughed "Hey everyone has to rebel sometimes. Im sure the teachers ready to slaughter me though" He laughed remember the look on his face and the eye roll he got every day from being late and "Mr. McCarthy, Your crazy sister is a better student then you are. At least she joins us on time."
"Yeah Missies like that too, she hates the taste of the meat. But She loves fish and sushi. Cheese sounds delicious.."
The wiatress returned, Dr. Pepper and Soda in hand. "Here you go Sweetie. " She said setting down Levi's Soda and then mattie's water. "Caiti We want a large cheese pizza, and some breadsticks." Levi said pushing the menu away from him. Caiti smiled "Anything you want." with that she turned and left.

Even though he was being pretty funny about it, his words held truth, it is important to let loose your 'wild side' everyonce in a while. It's important to let it loose in good ways too, that's why she ran. While running, you could think of everything, or nothing at all, you could go fast and forget all of your problems, or you could take it easy and just let it go and run like crazy. She stifled a laugh to herself thinking about running, she'd known her friend back home to be a funny runner, he would fling his arms around and act like an idiot, it was quite comical to watch. "You're right, we do all need to rebel."
Matt thanked the waitress when she gave her her water but again was forced to stiffle that strange feeling arising with her at the familiarity between her and Levi. After she left Matt turned back to him, sipping daintily on her water "So... she gestured halfly to Caiti "Where do you two know each other from? Outfit

Levi glanced at the waitress as She walked away. "Hm? Oh Caiti? I eat a lot of Pizza." Levi said with a smile. "Like more then any normal person should probably consume. Its my favorite food." He sipped his Dr. pepper. "Like it's honestly surprising im not 300 some pounds.."
Levi sat back, he focused on Matts face, how sweet she looked and how beautiful her eyes were. He mentally gulped, this girl was going to be trouble for him. He knew it. "Soo, What do you like to do besides bump into people in the hallway?" He asked with a smile. His blue eyes full of laughter as he took around sip of his Dr.Pepper.
